kinda pisses me off that people are saying queerphobic/acephobic/etc. shit while also supporting blm at the same exact time. we can uplift black people without shitting on others because i don't know if you know this but queer black people exist too. and they see that shit.

I've always been so fascinated by the moon, stars, and the night sky. 🌕

It's my OC Chandra again 💖 I know the clouds look weird 😅 I've been indoors for too long and I think I forgot what the sky actually looked like lmao

Faced with such permanent and brutal stigmatisation, violence, and insults, many of us — if not the totality — have lost hope to see our own dignity respected. … That is what I want to fight.

Please, don't forget our roots.

Marsha P. Johnson was a black trans woman who fought for our freedom to live. We must stand with #blacklivesmatter and protesters just like they did with us. Even if you can't protest or donate, stay vocal, stay loud, and condem bigotry.

Nothing will change if we don't.

yugioh779 -

^^^^ This is exactly why I am going to make a post here every day with a story of an LGBTQ+ activist, Marsha being one of them and explaining their story and missions in full. I want to educate others about what or fellow memebers have gone through and what impact they have made.

My focus is on stories of activists who have been murdered and I have found many people who I have never heard of before which is sad. I am wondering how many of you would have heard their names before my posts.

The stories I have chosen come from multiple countries and some where just being gay is a crime. They are sad and some very horrific but I want to be able to show you their faces and to tell their story. I want people to continue their fight so that in the future we can all live freely without any fear. I won't stop until everyone in every country can live openly as a memeber of the LGBTQ+ community without the fear of being arrested or killed.

I want to educate everyone. Not just those in our community. Everyone should know of the horrors we have gone through for CENTURIES and hopefully will help to make a change. Allies are so important for not just our movement but for all minorities. You don't have to go to protests or make speeches to be an ally. Something as simple as showing your support both on and offline helps.

If you see someone getting harrased for any reason, be it the colour of their skin, religion, sexuality, gender identiy or otherwise then step up and say something. It takes just one person to make a change. If just one person stands up then it might give others the confidence to also step up and help. We work best in a group and if it's just one harrasser, facing a group of people will more than likely make them stand down.

Remember folks, power in numbers!
